Fifty Clermont County wrestlers will compete in district tournaments this weekend across Ohio’s three postseason divisions for boys and the single-division girls tournament. The top four wrestlers in each weight class advance to the district tournament. Fifth placers are named alternates. Here are the results from last week’s sectional tournaments:

DIVISION I BOYS

Lebanon sectional

West Clermont’s Trey Blair is a sectional champion at 106 pounds, defeating Lebanon’s Lucas Laseur in the finals. Blair is 25-13 overall.

Other Wolves qualifiers include Liam Crum (18-13), 113, fourth; Cooper Renner (21-15), 132, fourth; Brayden Dryer (24-1), 157, second. West Clermont placed fifth overall.

Loveland sectional

Loveland senior Nate Boston is a sectional champion at 175 pounds, defeating Moeller’s Tyler Joselyn in the finals. Boston is 37-6 overall. Loveland placed fourth, and Milford sixth. Other qualifiers include Loveland, Nizam Khujaislomov (16-18), 106, third; Cooper Brown (20-17), 126, fourth; Nick Dent (40-6), 132, second; Eric Earl (36-13), 157, fourth; Calob Heilman (39-4), 190, second; and Randy Madison (33-9), 215, fourth; and Milford, Reid Van Pelt (17-21), 150, fourth; and Colin Smith (22-11), 175, fourth.

The Division I district tournament begins Feb. 28 at Trent Arena in Kettering.

DIVISION II BOYS

Western Brown sectional

Bethel-Tate senior Jeremiah Bowman (215 pounds), Goshen senior Carson Kessen (132), sophomore Gage Croley (157) and senior Kash Keitz (175) are sectional champions.

Bowman defeated Western Brown’s Adam Pena in the final and is 15-11; Kessen defeated McNicholas’s Max Monahan and is 36-7; Croley defeated New Richmond’s Eli Stark in the finals and is 35-4; Keitz defeated Wyoming’s Landen Woolsey and is 34-6.

Goshen placed sixth, Bethel-Tate seventh, New Richmond 11th and Batavia 13th.

Other qualifiers include Batavia, T.J. Pastura (17-6), 132, third; Bethel-Tate, Josh Harvey (15-16), 126, third; Landen Collins (16-8), 150, second; and Jayden Sayer (15-14), 175, fourth; and New Richmond, Colton Waldman (19-15), 144, third; Eli Stark (23-13), 157, second; and Eli Stockton (11-15), 215, fourth.

The Division II district tournament begins Feb. 28 at Wilmington.

DIVISION III BOYS

Blanchester sectional

Clermont Northeastern senior Josh Groeber defeated Greeneview’s Caden Church in the finals to win the sectional championship at 175 pounds. Groeber is 37-4.

Other qualifiers include Clermont Northeastern, Alex Neukam (22-9), 106 pounds, third; and Jaxon Vining (25-10), 120, third. Luke Neukam 19-6), 126, third; and Williamsburg, AJ Sturwold (28-11), 132, third; Aiden Daniel (25-15), 138, third; Joey Morris (26-12), 150, fourth; and Owen Parlier (14-9), 165, fifth.

Clermont Northeastern placed sixth, and Williamsburg ninth.

The Division III district tournament begins Feb. 28 at Hobart Arena in Troy.

DIVISION I GIRLS

Loveland sectional

Loveland junior Elizabeth Madison is the sectional champion at 170 pounds, defeating Norwood’s Maddie Turner in the finals. Madison is 15-0.

Milford placed fifth, and Loveland eighth. Individual placers included Milford, Ainsley Hull (21-8), 105, third; Charli Vehr (12-12), 125, fourth; and Hannah Western (12-13), 145, second.

Western Brown sectional

Batavia senior Kiara Martin is a sectional champion at 235 pounds, defeating Chaminade Julienne’s Autumn Woods in the finals. Martin is 18-3. Clermont Northeastern junior Liberty Johnson won the 130-pound weight class, defeating Clinton-Massie’s Abigail Crouse. Johnson is 32-6. New Richmond junior Charli Jones defeated Bethel-Tate’s Raegin Jasontek in the finals of the 105-pound weight class. Jones is 38-3. New Richmond senior DeeLyla Grantham is a sectional champion at 115 pounds, defeating Fairfield’s Delilah Wilson. Grantham is 41-6.

New Richmond placed second, Clermont Northeastern fifth, Bethel-Tate 10th, West Clermont 12th, Batavia 18th and Williamsburg 19th.

Individual qualifiers include Bethel-Tate, Raegin Jasontek (30-11), 105 pounds, second; Clermont Northeastern, Ava Stephan (27-7), 125, third; Janelle Donahue (27-6), 140, second; and Clarissa Hoskins (21-12), 145, second; New Richmond, Justice Roden (19-23), 100, fourth; Carol Foster (33-14), 145, third; Willa Riggenbach (23-18), 155, third; and Zoey Centers (29-13), 170, second; and West Clermont, Calista Binning (14-10), 115, third; and Ciarra Binning (4-15), 170, fourth.

The girls district tournament is this weekend at Harrison High School.
