Last week Clermont County girls basketball teams had the postseason state to themselves; beginning this week, boys teams will join them. Here’s a look at what’s ahead for Clermont County’s boys basketball teams:
Division I
Milford (No. 15 seed)– No. 7 Elder is the first-round opponent, in the district semifinals, at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 25, at Mason High School. The winner meets No. 3 Fairfield or No.10 Middletown at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 1, at Mason
West Clermont (No. 7 seed) – The Wolves play No 5 Lakota East at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 16, at Mason. The winner plays No. 1 Centerville, the state runner-up in 2024, or No. 6 Springfield at noon Saturday, March 1, at Mason.
Other teams in region: Colerain, Hamilton, Lakota West, Lebanon, Oak Hills, St. Xavier, Walnut Hills and Western Hills.
Division II
Loveland (No. 3 seed) – The Tigers meet fellow Eastern Cincinnati Conference member Anderson (No. 4) in a district quarterfinal game at 6 p.m. Friday, Feb. 21, at Lakota West. Loveland won at Anderson Feb. 6, 57-54. The winner plays another ECC school, Kings, at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 25, at Lakota West. Loveland defeated Kings at home Jan. 14, 61-52.
Other teams in region: Fairborn, Harrison, Northmont, Sidney and Winton Woods.
