Each spring, the Congressional Institute sponsors a nationwide high school visual art competition to recognize and encourage artistic talent in the nation and in each congressional district. Ohio’s Second Congressional District had 2 winners from Goshen High School.

1st Place- Kylie Zook “Cabin By the Lake”

2nd Place- Miranda Royal “Abstracted Landscape”

The first-place winner, Kylie Zook will have her work displayed for one year in the U.S. Capitol and will receive an invitation to attend an awards ceremony in Washington, D.C. recognizing each of the winners from across the nation. Second-place winner Miranda Royal will have her artwork displayed prominently in Congressman Wenstrup’s Washington D.C. Office.
