Clermont and Brown Counties need someone with experience and drive to represent us at the Statehouse. As a current Pierce Township Trustee with a background in public/private partnerships, I have the skills and resources necessary to succeed as your next State Representative.
In addition to bringing my Southwest Ohio values to Columbus, I will focus on projects that specifically help our region.
During my time as a Township Trustee, I worked tirelessly to create and fund long-term solutions for our most critical projects. Recently, I helped secure funding for Bradbury Road, Jenny Lind Road, and the Pierce Township Park Learning Center. I helped create a grading system for local road repairs to improve efficiency and kicked off the State Route 125 Corridor Study. I partnered with NOPE (Neighbors Opposing Pit Expansion) to form Pierce Preserve and Trails, which doubled our township greenspace. And I helped landowners by amending the zoning code, in order to better favor residents.
Additionally, my small business offers financial and public relations strategies, focusing particularly on small government solutions. Past and present consulting projects include the Banks Riverfront Development, Brent Spence Bridge, Martin Luther King Interchange and the Cincinnati Eastern Bypass.
I have been a conservative voice for Southwest Ohio. I have held the line on tax increases in Pierce Township by renewing and reducing the waste levy. I have consistently sourced other resources to extend the life of Pierce Township’s infrastructure fund. As a Southwest Ohio Regional Transit Authority (SORTA) board member, I have actively fought against higher taxes, culminating in my no vote against the proposed sales tax increase in 2020.
I look forward to working with our community leaders to develop commonsense solutions to the problems we face. I have dedicated my life to serving our region, both professionally and as a public servant. I would be honored to serve the 66th House District as its next representative and humbly ask for your vote on March 17!
Allen Freeman is running for the 66th Ohio House District. The 66th District encompasses eastern Clermont County and all of Brown County.
