Linda passed away March 15, 2019, at age 66.
Linda attended Ohio State for Music and graduated from the Marinello school of beauty before coming to the Clerk of Courts office in February of 1979. Linda worked close to 20 years in the files as a file clerk. She has worked all the offices, Batavia, Milford, New Richmond and ended her title career in Beechmont.
Linda was an asset to the office with her many years of knowledge, if ever there was a question you knew you could count on Linda to either know or have the knowledge as to where to find the answer.
Linda greeted every customer with a smile and sometimes lengthy conversations. She was dependable, never missing a day of work unless it was a holiday or her planned vacation time.
She lived her whole life in Chilo, Ohio. She lived alone so days with her at work were filled with lots of talking and laughter.
Linda was our walking title book with 40 years of experience. She was patient with customers.
Her pace may have been slower then others but she always made sure the customer understood the process rather it be an auto title or passport.
She had a huge caring heart, even for those that did not deserve it. Her smile, knowledge, giggle, and sometimes sarcastic comments will be greatly missed. She was our answering machine with the phone calls, parking lot police and you better believe we were up to date on the most recent news or weather.
Dealers have come in to express their condolences, from flowers, to candy, to White Castle chicken rings, Linda loved her food and talking to our dealers daily. Goes to show when you take the time to talk to customers they remember you.
Linda will be forever loved, and forever missed by her coworkers. She was a one of a kind lady.
Memorials may be made to: The American Cancer Society.
