A BlueGrass Saturday

We traveled to Clay City, Kentucky, the Saturday before Easter to hear some wonderful Bluegrass music at the Meadowgreen Park. A new friend of John’s, a kind gentleman named Frank, who lives in that area, called and invited us down to hear J. D. Crowe and the New South and Driving Rain-the two bands playing that night.

Even those who detest the sport of figure skating will most probably love the new laugh-out-loud comedy Blades of Glory. Will Ferrell and Jon Heder play Jimmy MacElroy and Chazz Michael Michaels, two rival male figure skating stars who, after receiving tie scores at the World Wintersport Games, are forced to share the gold medal.

Vision screening has special meaning for agency director

Clermont Senior Services and the Cincinnati Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired are partnering to offer low vision evaluations at the United Way Building at 2085-A Front Wheel Drive, next to the YMCA in Batavia. This service is being made possible by a grant from the Lions Club International Foundation and support from several local Lions Clubs.
