Orab, Holman served for 42 months in the US Army Air Force during WWII. After his return, he started a Buick Dealership in Batavia.
Dock Shannon Jr., 80, of Milford, died on Dec. 4, 2005. He was born on Feb. 2, 1925, the son of the late Dock and Louella Shannon. He was a WWII veteran of the Navy.
Elizabeth M. Link, 89, formerly of New Richmond, died on Dec. 1, 2005. She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard R. Link; siblings, Virginia Haas, Francis Hoh and Vincent and Leonard Hoh.
Paris A. Sawyer, 85, of Union Township, died on Dec. 1, 2005. He was a WWII veteran. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Sawyer; a daughter, Tomye Stirneman; and a granddaughter, Kelly Osborn.
Frances E. Lamb, 74, of New Richmond, died on Dec. 1, 2005. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Lamb; two children, Jo Marie and Marvin Lamb; and her parents, Herbert and Julia Nash.
Cleve Owens, 89, of Georgetown, died November 30, 2005. He was born on May 25, 1916, the son of the late Frank and Ollie Jane Owens. He served during WW II in the US Army.
Leroy Knuckles, 66, of Goshen, died on Dec. 3, 2005. He was born on March 11, 1939, the son of the late Marshall and Verna Knuckles.
Mildred Gans, 88, of Camp Dennison, died on Nov. 30, 2005. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Josephine Combs; her husband, George Gans Jr.; four brothers, Harold, Wilbur, Edward and Howard Combs; a sister, Frances Littlejohn; two grandsons, George Gans IV and Ronald Gans.
Joshua James Wolf, 21 of Suffolk, VA, died November 27, 2005. He was born on December 21, 1983, the son of Mitchiko Taylor and James Brian Wolf.
