Jackie Lee Mackey, 69, of Milford, died Sunday, April 26, 2009, in Cincinnati. Mr. Mackey worked as a supervisor for Surgical Appliance, Inc. Funeral services were held April 29, at Evans Funeral Home, in Milford.

Gary Meyer, 62

Gary F. Meyer, 62, of Owensville, in Stonelick Township, died Tuesday, April 21, 2009, in Las Vegas, Nev. Mr. Meyer was an executive vice president for a manufacturing business. Funeral services were held April 27, at Evans Funeral Home.

Joseph Fries Jr., 67

Joseph E. Fries Jr., 67, died Monday, May 4, 2009. He was born May 16, 1941. Funeral services were held May 6, at E. C. Nurre Funeral Home, in Amelia.

Sanny Forest, 85

Sanny Joanne Forest, 85, of Union Township and formerly of Elizabeth, N. J., died Thursday, April 30, 2009, in Union Township. Mrs. Forest had worked as a legal secretary. No services were planned.

Phillip Parker, 50

Phillip W. Parker, 50, of Milford, Goshen and Wayne Township, died Monday, April 27, 2009, in Batavia. Mr. Parker was self-employed as a brick layer. Funeral services were held May 1, at Evans Funeral Home in Goshen.

Carl Ely, 78

Carl E. Ely, 78, of Williamsburg, died Thursday, April 30, 2009. He was preceded in death by one son, Mark Steven Ely and one brother, Robert Ely.

Annabel Yeazel, 87

Annabel Armstrong Yeazel, 87, died Sunday, May 3, 2009, at Locust Ridge Nursing Home. Graveside memorial services will be held Tuesday, May 12, at Bloom Rose Cemetery. Mayham Funeral Home served the family.

Joyce Wise, 82

Joyce Wise, 82, of Milford, died Saturday, April 18, 2009, in Miami Township. Mrs. Wise was a homemaker. Funeral services were held April 21, at Evans Funeral Home, in Milford.

Anthony Trasser, 84

Anthony J. “Tony” Trasser, 84, died Tuesday, April 21, 2009, in Anderson Township. He was born May 12, 1924, in Cincinnati. Trasser was a volunteer fireman for Batavia Joint Central Fire and EMS, a volunteer at Clermont Mercy Hospital and was a 50 year member of Holy Trinity Church.
