William Lewis Thomas Martin, 77, of Wayne Township, died Feb. 15, 2006. He served in the Army during the Korean War. He was a meat cutter. He was preceded in death by his father, Delbert Martin; mother Lorraine Fischer; and sister, Audrey Elliott.
Larry Carter, 66, of Florence, Ky., died on Feb. 12, 2006. He was the retired owner of Ace Electrical Contracting for over 20 years. He was the first inductee class into the Clermont Northeastern Athletic Hall of Fame. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge. He was preceded in death by his son, Joe.
Earl S. Foley, 95, of Hamersville, died Feb. 8, 2006. He was born Feb. 23, 1910, the son of the late John and Etha (Fowler) Foley.
Douglas Scott Deal, 46, of Milford, died Feb. 13, 2006. He was self employed in car sales.
Richard Louis Chandler, 80, of Stonelick Township, died Feb. 10, 2006. He did landscaping for Natorps. He was preceded in death by his brother David.
Paul R. Carnes, 70, of Bethel, died Feb. 11, 2006. He was preceded in death by parents, Wilfred A., and Mildred W. Carnes. He is survived by sister Margaret; brothers, James, Earl; aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews, and a worldwide brotherhood of Jehovah
Betty A. (nee Gifford) Loux, 79, Batavia, died Feb. 8, 2006. She was preceded in death by her sister Caryl Coombs.
Joseph A. Roflow, 83, of Bethel, died Feb. 7, 2006. He was born May 25, 1922, the son of the late Joseph William and Grace Marie (Cochran) Roflow. After retiring from General Motors, he operated the family hardware store in Georgetown. He also worked as a police office in Bethel.
Eugenia Fitch, 91, of Miami Township, died Feb. 12, 2006. She wrote versus for greeting card companies.
Irvin Edward Gardner, 69, of Batavia, died Feb. 10, 2006. He was the devoted husband of Judi Ann (nee Samad) Gardner for 49 years. He was the son of the late William E. and Helen I. Gardner of Amelia.
