Joan Carol Davis, 75, of Milford in Miami Township, died Wednesday, July 22, 2009, in Miami Township. Mrs. Davis had worked as a sales clerk for McAlpins. Funeral services were held July 25, at St. Gertrude Catholic Church.
Barbara Ann Sturgis, 61, of Blanchester and formerly of Goshen, died Saturday, July 25, 2009, in Anderson Township. Mrs. Sturgis was a homemaker. Funeral services were held July 29, at Fellowship Baptist Church, in Montgomery.
Charles Edward “Eddie” Tucker, 61, died Monday, July 20, 2009. He was born Sept. 20, 1947, in Georgetown. A memorial service was held July 25, at Felicity Church of the Nazarene.
Ray Wagers, 57, died July 3, 2009. He was born July 6, 1951. Funeral services were held July 7, at E. C. Nurre Funeral Home in Amelia. Interment at Tate Township Cemetery, in Bethel.
Loretta Louise Bamber, 86, of Milford-Loveland, died Monday, July 20, 2009, in Cincinnati. She was a homemaker. Funeral services were held July 24, at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church.
Army Spc. E-4 Gregory James Missman, 36, died Wednesday, July 8, 2009, in Jalalabad, Afghanistan when his convoy was ambushed. Missman served with the U. S. Army 4th Infantry Division, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 704th Brigade Support Battalion. Missman was preceded in death by his grandparents, an uncle and a 3 year old nephew, Austin Christian Missman. Funeral services were held July 17, at Mt. Moriah United Methodist Church.
John A. Wagner, 79, of Hamersville, died Friday, July 17, 2009. Mr. Wagner was an Air Force Veteran who served during the Korean War. Graveside services were held July 20, at Tate Township Cemetery, in Bethel.
Rebecca Anna Hacker-Willis, 54, of Maysville, Ky., died Friday, July 17, 2009, at Meadowview Regional Medical Center, in Maysville, Ky. Funeral services were held July 21, at Megie Funeral Home in Mt. Orab.
James Edward Werring, 73, of Hamilton Township, died Wednesday, July 15, 2009, in Morrow. Mr. Werring served as a SP3 in the U. S. Army during the Korean War. He worked as a maintenance supervisor for Ford Motor Company.
