Betty M. Gatch, 80, of Mt. Orab, died Monday, Aug. 3, in Georgetown. She was born Sept. 16, 1928, in Brown County, the daughter of Robert C. and Amanda “Tillie” Malott Pitzer. Interment at Mt. Orab Cemetery in Green Township.
Ronald John Woellert, 78, of Milford, died Friday, July 17, 2009, in Blue Ash. Mr. Woellert served as a corporal with the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean War. He had worked as a brick layer in the construction industry.
Leslie M. Veatch, 91, of Bethel, died Monday, Aug. 3, 2009. Mr. Veatch was a Kentucky Colonel. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 7 at the funeral home. Interment at Tate Township Cemetery in Bethel.
Matthew Scott Smith, 20, of Milford, died Sunday, July 26, 2009, in Athens. He was a student. Funeral services were held July 30, at Trinity United Methodist Church.
Thelma Mae Johnson, 79, of Milford, died Monday, July 27, 2009, in Montgomery. She had been self-employed as a caregiver. Funeral services were held July 30, at Evans Funeral Home. Interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, in Montgomery.
Shelley M. Turner, 37, of Amelia, died Wednesday, July 29, 2009. Funeral services were held Aug. 3, at Lifestream Christian Church, in Batavia. Memorials may be made to Woodland Lakes Christian Camp.
Virginia Lou Gall, 92, of Versailles, Ky., died Wednesday, July 29, 2009. She attended Deaconess Hospital School in 1938 and served on the staff at Deaconess Hospital and Good Samaritan Hospital. She was also a hostess with Trans World Airlines.
Harriet P. Gibson, 83, of Terrace Park, died Monday, July 27, 2009. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Gibson. Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.
John Robert Buchanan, 48, of Bethel, died of an apparent heart attack on Friday, July 31, 2009. Mass of Christian Burial was held Aug. 4 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Bethel. Interment at Tate Township Cemetery.
