Doris Elaine Foley, 72, of Milford, died Monday, Sept. 14, 2009, in Milford. Mrs. Foley had worked in the housekeeping department at the Southwest Ohio Development Center. Funeral services were held Sept. 17, at Evans Funeral Home in Goshen.
Dewey Solomon, 88, of Milford, died Sunday, Sept. 20, 2009, in Miami Township. Mr. Solomon served as a technician fourth class in the U.S. Army during World War II. He also worked as a mail carrier for the U.S. Postal Service.
Barbara J. Spencer, 81, of Milford, died Monday, Sept. 14, 2009, in Miami Township. She was a homemaker. Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.

Colonel Cecil Himes, 94, formerly of Batavia, died Saturday, Sept. 19, 2009. He graduated from Batavia High School in 1933 and from the United States Military Academy at West Point in 1937. Visitation will be held from noon to 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 26, at Moore’s Family Funeral Home in Batavia.
Fremont Jacobs, 86, of Batavia, died Sunday, Sept. 20, 2009. Funeral services were held Sept. 23, at E.C. Nurre Funeral Home in Amelia. Interment at Arlington Memorial Gardens.

Alan Wayne Stouder, 64, of Madeira, died Sunday, Sept. 6, 2009, in Sycamore Township. He served as a SSG in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was a machinist in the machine tool trade.
Jacqueline Ann Justice, 56, of Owensville, died Thursday, Sept. 10, 2009, in Sycamore Township. Mrs. Justice was a homemaker. Interment at Stonelick Township Cemetery in Owensville.
