Hazel Combs, 75, of Goshen Township, died Friday, Nov. 20, 2009, at her residence. Mrs. Combs was a homemaker. A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 5 at Evans Funeral Home in Goshen.
Geraldine “Gerry” Gill, 91, of Bethel, died Sunday, Nov. 15, 2009. She was born Nov. 18, 1917. A memorial service will be held 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 27 at E. C. Nurre Funeral Home in Bethel. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
Mildred E. Cravens, 77, of Amelia, died Saturday, Nov. 21, 2009. Funeral services were held Nov. 25 at E. C. Nurre Funeral Home in Amelia. Interment at Pierce Township Cemetery.
Charles Wade Davis, 54, of Milford, died Sunday, Nov. 15, 2009. Davis served in the U.S. Army. He enjoyed Bible studies, traveling and was a patron of the arts. A celebration of his life was held Nov. 17 at Blue Ash Presbyterian Church.
Shirley McMullen of Batavia, died Saturday, Nov. 14, 2009 at her residence. She was a homemaker. Visitation will be held 10 – 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 19 at John Evans Funeral Home in Milford.
Norborne Charles “Knobby” Ward, 80, died Monday, Nov. 9, 2009 at Hospice of Cincinnati. Ward was a patrolman for the Ohio State Highway Patrol and former police chief in Batavia.
Martha E. Boyd, 89, lifelong resident of Carroll County and a member of New Harrisburg Presbyterian Church, died Monday, Nov. 9, 2009. A memorial service will be held 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 21 at the New Harrisburg Presbyterian Church.
