Bernice Katherine Bitzer, 88, of Milford, died Jan. 31, 2006. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband Edward George Bitzer, Sr.

Elmer E. Ledington, 75, of Union Township, died Feb. 2, 2006. He was an Army Veteran. He is survived by wife, May; son, Joseph; three brothers, Denver, Phil, Ronny; two grandchildren; and one great grandchild.

Homer Abner, 85, of New Richmond died Feb. 4, 2006. He was born Jan. 27, 1921, the son of the late Robert and Alaphair (Barger) Abner. He served in the Marine Corps during World War II.

Rex Moore, 84, formerly of Bethel, died Jan. 22, 2006. He was born Aug. 5, 1921, the son of the late Volney and Esther (Risner) Moore. He was a World War II Army Veteran.

Louis H. Shinkle, 81, of Batavia, died Jan. 25, 2006. He was a World War II veteran. He served six years as Batavia Township Trustee.

Ethel Dora Frazier, 74, of Goshen Township, died Jan. 27, 2006. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by parents Dora Mae Willoughby and Ray Carpenter.

Louis Edwin Wenstrup, 82, of Miami Township, died Jan. 26, 2006. He was a World War II 2nd Lieutenant Army Aircorp veteran. He was an insurance adjuster.

Raymond H. Emery Sr., 80, of Bethel died Jan. 23, 2006. He was born July 15, 1925, the son of the late William A. and Flora (nee Wax) Emery. He is a World War II veteran of the US Navy.

Alkie Wright, 81, died Jan. 20, 2006. She was preceded in death by parents George and Gillie Ann (nee Montgomery) Daniels; husband, Mason; one brother and six sisters.
