Mabel “Irene” Fisher Haws, 88, of Loveland, died Tuesday, July 28, 2009. She was born July 21, 1921, the daughter of Pleasant Edward and Earnestine Holley Fisher. Interment at Dayton National Cemetery.
Earl Vinson Hopkins III, 47, of Milford, died Saturday, July 25, 2009, in Cincinnati. Mr. Hopkins had served in the U.S. Navy. He was a welder with the Pipe Fitters Union. Funeral services were held July 29, 2009, at St. Philomena Church.
Edith Mae Wilcher Cole, 75, of Goshen, died Tuesday, July 28, 2009, in Goshen Township. She was born Dec. 26, 1933 the daughter of Grayson and Millie Wilcher. She was a homemaker.
Robert V. Tynan, 84, of Sun City Center, Fla., died Monday, Aug. 3, 2009. Mr. Tynan served as a corporal in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II. He retired as a designer from Exhibit Group Cincinnati.
F. Harley Clark, 91, died Monday, July 31, 2009. He was born Dec. 12, 1917, the son of Fred W. and Bernice Mott Clark. Mr. Clark was a decorated World War II veteran, former business owner and civic leader.
Michael Douglas Acree, 61, of Owensville, died Friday, July 24, 2009, in Batavia Township. He was born in Morehead, Ky. Funeral services were held July 29, at the Christian Life Center. Interment at Stonelick Township Cemetery, in Owensville.
Cranston Lydell Foley, 54, of Amelia, died Friday, July 31, 2009. Funeral services were held Aug. 5, at the Church of God New Richmond. Interment at Calvary Cemetery.
Marge Hager, 87, formerly of Hamersville, died Sunday, Aug. 2, 2009, in Fairborn. She was born Aug. 23, 1921 the daughter of Jack Charles and Anna May Mefford Turner.
Herbert B. Kohus Jr., 92, of Milford, died Thursday, July 30, 2009, in Williamsburg. Mr. Kohus served as a Tec 5 in the U. S. Army during World War II. He worked as a mechanic for SORTA Queen City Metro.
George H. Hafer, 72, died Saturday, July 25, 2009. He was born Aug. 10, 1936. Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, July 30, at Hickory Ridge Cemetery, in Brown County.
