Eva W. Richter Bowers, 88, of Milford, died Saturday, Jan. 16, 2010. Bowers enjoyed gardening and was a member of the Lilies of the Valley Garden Club. She was also active with the Stepping Stones organization.
Zachary Ryan Carnahan, 16, of Mt. Orab, died Saturday, Jan. 30, 2010 in Tate Township. He was a sophomore at Western Brown High School and played fullback for the Western Brown Broncos.
Ruth S. Stevens Lytle, 95, of Williamsburg, died Friday, Jan. 15, 2010. Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.
Orpha Cooper Fry, 91, of Milford, died Saturday, Jan. 23, 2010 in Milford. Mrs. Fry had worked as a seamstress for Model Laundry and Dry Cleaning. Funeral services were held Jan. 26 at Evans Funeral Home in Milford.
Mary Carolyn Nordloh Moore, 75, of Batavia, died Saturday, Jan. 23, 2010. Moore was a past president of the Clermont County Garden Club, a member of the White Shrine and Rosie Reds. She was appointed to the Selective Service Board, Batavia School Board and was a leader of the Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts and 4-H Clubs.
James “Curly” Chambers, 80, of Amelia, died Tuesday, Jan. 19, 2010. Funeral services were held Jan. 22 at E. C. Nurre Funeral Home in Amelia. Interment at Batavia Union Cemetery.
Dorothy M. Luck Seiger, 83, of New Richmond, died Wednesday, Jan. 20, 2010. Funeral services were held Jan. 22 at E. C. Nurre Funeral Home in New Richmond.
Viola Hodge McAllister, 103, of Anderson Township, died Monday, Jan. 25, 2010. Visitation will be held 10 – 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 29 at E. C. Nurre Funeral Home in Amelia. Funeral services will follow the visitation.
Peggy Ruth Combs, 72, died Wednesday, Jan. 20, 2010. She was born Aug. 28, 1937. Private family services were held.
William “Bill” McCormick, 86, of Amelia, died Sunday, Jan. 24, 2010. McCormick served in the U. S. Navy for four years. He served during World War II aboard the USS Bunker Hill aircraft carrier.
