Lewis Francis Sheldon, 86, of Goshen and Milford, died Thursday, Feb. 18. Sheldon served in the U.S. Army and was a veteran of both World War II and the Korean War. He was a member of the American Legion.
Stephen L. Mollohan, 67, of Miami Township, died Tuesday, Feb. 16. Funeral services were held Feb. 22 at Craver-Riggs Funeral Home and Crematory in Milford.
Boyd Everet Smith, 88, of Milford in Miami Township, died Sunday, Feb. 14. Smith served as a sergeant in the U. S. Army during World War II receiving the Purple Heart. He had worked as the school superintendent for Milford Exempted Schools.
Harry Austin Simons, 70, of Union Township, died Saturday, Feb. 20. Simons had worked as a machinist for Senco Fastening Systems. Funeral services were held Feb. 23 at Evans Funeral Home in Milford.
Eugene “Gene” Gillinger, 71, of Fayetteville, died Sunday, Feb. 21. Gillinger retired from Ford Motor Company after 30 years of service. He was a past Master of the Milford Masonic Lodge and a member of the Scottish Rite.
Edna Marie Day, 95, of Hamersville, died Saturday, Feb. 20, 2010. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 26 at E. C. Nurre Funeral Home in Bethel. Visitation will be held 5 – 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 25 at the funeral home.
Elizabeth Mae “Betty” Brinker Price, 86, of Milford, died Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2010 in Cincinnati. She was a homemaker. Funeral services were held Feb. 5 at Milford First United Methodist Church.
Delia Dorris Ayers, 84, of Goshen Township, died Thursday, Feb. 18, 2010. She had worked as a laborer for a manufacturer. Funeral services were held Feb. 20 in the chapel at Graceland Memorial Gardens in Milford.
Robert Gus Willhite, 78, of Goshen, died Wednesday, Feb. 17, 2010 in Montgomery. Willhite was a veteran who served as a corporal in the U.S. Army in Korea. He had worked as a fabricator for a manufacturer.
Dorothy “Dottie” Vernon Gabbard Benson, 80, of Goshen and Milford, died Tuesday, Feb. 16, 2010 in Montgomery. Benson was a co-owner of Dixie Plaza Truck Stop.
