Rudolph J. “Rudy” Zagar, 76, of Batavia, died Saturday, March 13. Zagar was employed by Cincinnati Bell for more than 30 years. He was a veteran. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, March 18.

Lillian “Lynn” Loraine Moorhead Cullen, 83, died Sunday, March 7. Cullen joined as a chorus girl for local Broadway Show Tours at the Taft Theater. Funeral services were held March 12 at Craver-Riggs Funeral Home and Crematory.
Betty Mae Tudor Stamets, 83, of Blanchester, died Sunday, March 7. She had worked in environmental services at Ormond Memorial Hospital. Funeral services were held March 10 at Evans Funeral Home in Milford.
Scott R. Swormstedt, 49, of New Richmond, died Saturday, March 13. He was the facility manager at ST Media Group International, Inc. A memorial service will be held 3 p.m. Saturday, March 20.
Charles Alfred Carrington, 88, of Bethel, died Saturday, March 13. Visitation will be held 6 – 8 p.m. Friday, March 19 at E. C. Nurre Funeral Home in Bethel.
Bertha “Bert” M. Griffin Spradlin, 68, of Batavia, died Thursday, March 11. Spradlin owned and operated Bert’s Florist in Milford for more than 30 years. Funeral services were held March 13 at Victory Baptist Church.
Kenneth E. Boehle, 91, of Milford, died Monday, March 8. Boehle served in the U. S. Army during World War II. He had retired from Cincinnati Milacron as a welder. Funeral services were held March 12 at Evans Funeral Home.
Alex J. “A.J.” Grimmet, 81, of Loveland, died Monday, March 1. Grimmet was a minister for the Church of Christ for more than 65 years and a retired teacher from the public school system.
