Walter E. Ward, 75, of Batavia, died Saturday, Oct. 31, 2009. He was born Jan. 22, 1934. Mr. Ward was a U.S. Army veteran and a retiree from Ford Motor Company.

Denise Waits, 36

Denise Ann Waits, 36, died Monday, Oct. 26, 2009. She was born Aug. 23, 1973, the daughter of Marsha and Dennis Waits. Funeral services were held Nov. 2, at E.C. Nurre Funeral Home in New Richmond.

Thomas Engled, 73

Thomas James Engled, 73, of Goshen and Milford, died Thursday, Oct. 29, 2009 in Blue Ash. Mr. Engled served with the U.S. Army in Vietnam. He worked as a truck driver for Smith Transfer and was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 1095.

Joselyn Steinher, 3 months

Joselyn Michelle Steinher, 3 months, died Thursday, Oct. 29, 2009. She was born July 15, 2009, the daughter of Stephanie Bene and Robert Steinher. Funeral services were held Nov. 2, at E.C. Nurre Funeral Home in Amelia.

Inez Pindell, 76

Inez L. Davis Pindell, 76, of Owensville, died Saturday, Sept. 26, 2009, at her residence. Mrs. Pindell had worked in the food service department at Clermont Northeastern Schools.

Brenda Zenni, 70

Brenda Zenni, 70, of Rising Sun, Ind., died Saturday, Oct. 31, 2009 in Cincinnati. She had worked as a finance clerk in the banking business. There were no funeral services.

James Rybolt, 76

James William Rybolt, 76, of Milford, died Friday, Oct. 16, in Montgomery. He had worked as a maintenance man for Nutone. Funeral services were held Oct. 21 at Evans Funeral Home in Milford. Interment at Greenlawn Cemetery in Milford.

Roger Fisher, 87

Roger Wesley Fisher, 87, died Thursday, Oct. 29, 2009. Mr. Fisher served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was stationed in Greenland. He was a member of the Wesleyan Church. Interment at Graceland Memorial Gardens.

Hazel Hacker, 87

Hazel C. Chadwell Hacker, 87, of Summerside, died Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2009, at her residence. She was born July 31, 1922, the baby of 11 children born to Floyd and Jane Chadwell. Funeral services were held Oct. 30 at E.C. Nurre Funeral Home in Amelia.

Nicholas Stozic, 104

Nicholas Stozic, 104, died Sunday, Nov. 1, 2009. He was born Jan. 31, 1904. Mr. Stozic was a decorated World War II hero, a former POW and the oldest original member of the 82nd Airborne Division. Interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
