James C. Thornberry, 90, of Bethel, died Oct. 20, 2006. He was born on Aug. 31, 1916 in Sandy Hook, Ky. He was an assembler for the Ford Motor Company and a WWII Army veteran.

Eva Zielonka Lanman, 47, of Milford, died Oct. 20, 2006. She was a metallurgical engineer at General Electric. She was preceded in death by her father, Richard Zielonka.

Cecil Taylor Allen, 92, of Milford, died Oct. 17, 2006. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by husband, Norris; father, James Stone; and mother, Mary Lou Kendell.

Thelma Lora Jones Beck, 97, of Wayne Township, died Oct. 20, 2006. She was a cook at the Blue Ash Nursing Home.

Frances I. Howard, 53, of Batavia, died Oct. 19, 2006. She was born in Georgetown on Sept. 16, 1953. She was a nurse for Eastgate Health Care Center and an Army and Navy veteran.

Rose Mary Cahall, 87, of Bethel, died Oct. 21, 2006. She was born on April 27, 1987, in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank B. and Josephine (nee Wurst) Meyer.

Donald F. Shoop, 77, of Milford, died Oct. 13, 2006. She was a tool and dye cutter at Ford Motor Company. Funeral services were held Oct. 19 at the Evans Funeral Home.

Barbara Comer Thornhill, 72, of Maysville, Ky., died in Lexington Monday, Oct. 23 after a three-year battle with cancer.

Jared W. Anderson, 30, of Amelia, died Oct. 14, 2006. He was a musician and a vocalist. Funeral services were held Oct. 19 at the E.C. Nurre Funeral Home in Amelia.

Charles H. Talkie, 83, of Bethel, died Oct. 11, 2006. He was born on Jan. 16, 1923, in White Oak, Ohio. He served with the Bethel Police Department for 30 years.
