Nicholas Uremovich, 89, of Amelia, died Friday, Oct. 23, 2009. He was born Nov. 26, 1919. He served in the U.S. Army and was awarded a Purple Heart for his heroic struggle against enemy forces during the Battle of the Bulge.
Shirley Thomas Orr, 67, of Archer, Fla., and formerly of Bethel, died Tuesday, Oct. 20, 2009. Funeral services were held Oct. 26 at E.C. Nurre Funeral Home in Amelia.
Robert “Bob” C. Drummond, 69, of Milford, died Monday, Oct. 19, 2009. A Mass of Christian Burial was held Oct. 23 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church.
Harry James Brooks, 75, died Monday, Oct. 26, 2009. He was born Jan. 18, 1934. A memorial service was held Oct. 28 at Belfast Methodist Church in Goshen.

Evalou Jones, 71, of Williamsburg, died Sunday, Oct. 25, 2009. Jones was one of the founding members of the Williamsburg Fire Department Auxiliary and a member of the Ohio State Firefighters Association Auxiliary for more than 50 years. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 30.

Kathy Ann Jolley, 51, of Gainesville, Fla. and formerly of Milford, died Friday, Oct. 16, 2009, in Gainesville, Fla. She was a homemaker. Interment at Arlington Memorial Gardens in Mt. Healthy.
Caroline Jean Brandenburg Moore, 55, of Union Township died Saturday, Oct. 17, 2009, in Union Township. She was a homemaker. Funeral services were held Oct. 23, at Eastside Christian Fellowship Church.
