The fifth-annual Clermont County Librari*Con on Nov. 4 will celebrate geek and fandom culture.
Librari*Con is 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 4, at the Union Township Branch Library, 4450 Glen Este-Withamsville Road. Admission is free and activities are geared toward teens and adults.
• Visit with 501st Ohio Star Wars characters and other cosplayers as part of the cosplay events, culminating in our fifth annual Cosplay Contest. Contest categories include prizes for kids, teens and adults.
• Enter your art in our online Fan Art Contest until Oct. 31.
• Decorate a messenger bag.
• Make a button with your favorite character.
• Create your own Harry Potter wand.
• Make a necklace with your own fandom art.
• Enjoy classic video games.
Bring your friends, dress up and embrace your fandom. The library will have food, crafts and more fun for everyone.
