Letter to the Editor:
Goshen Township partnering with Clermont Senior Services

October 26th, 2017    Author: Administrator    Filed Under: Opinion

The Goshen Township Police Department has recently partnered with Clermont Senior Services to implement a Senior Visits Program.

Upon referral by a family member, friend, or the senior themselves, a Goshen Township Police Officer will visit the home of an elderly adult living in Goshen and check on their overall well-being.

Officer Kristen Groves of the Goshen Township Police Department

A safety check of the residence along with an assessment to determine if the individual is receiving the proper care and attention will be completed on a regular basis. Officers communicate with Clermont Senior Services to log their visits and alert Case Managers of any needs or concerns they find during visits. Referrals can be made by contacting Officer Kristen Groves at (513)722-3200 or her email at kristin.groves@goshen-oh.gov.

This is such a wonderful idea. I appreciate that we have such great police in our community. Makes me very glad I voted for the levy. This along with other improvements as well as the officers themselves make me proud.
