Join the Clermont County Park District on Sept. 23 during the Great Outdoor Weekend for a naturalist-guided canoe adventure down the East Fork of the Little Miami River to search for beaver, wood ducks, turtles, and other aquatic wildlife.

We’ll make a brief stop on the Wilson Nature Preserve island before ending at Sycamore Park.

After the trip, grab a kick net and help us collect aquatic insects to determine the quality of the water in the river. Participants will be given a brief safety demonstration before entering the water.

The canoe adventure is free and open to the public, but registration is required. Trips will be conducted at 9 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.

Spots are limited. Participants should meet at Sycamore Park at least 15 minutes before their scheduled trip.

To register, please call 513-732-7075 ext. 2, or email ssteffensen@clermontcountyohio.gov.
