I was saddened to hear of the loss of Bill Latham. I am one of many who got a start with the Lathams and went on to spend most of my life in newspaper work. I remember Mr. Latham as a serious, decent and intelligent man. He was devoted to his family and to building a newspaper that would reflect and uplift his community. The community is better because he was there.
