The National Elder Law Foundation (NELF) – the only organization approved by the American Bar Association to offer certification in the area of elder law – has announced that Dan Vu, a partner of the statewide practice of Cooper, Adel & Associates Law Firm has successfully completed its examination leading to such certification. Certification in elder law provides a measure of assurance to the public that the attorney has an in-depth working knowledge of the legal issues that impact the elderly.
Dan Vu becomes the third member of the Cooper, Adel & Associates Law Firm to achieve certification by the National Elder Law Foundation (NELF). Cooper, Adel & Associates is now the only law firm in the State of Ohio with three Certified Elder Law Attorneys as certified by NELF.
After working for a Special Counsel to the Ohio Attorney General, Dan joined Cooper, Adel and Associates where he has practiced elder law for over seven years. He focuses his practice on advanced estate planning strategies including those designed to protect and preserve assets of clients with IRAs, those with business and farming interests and those with high net worth estates. Dan has presented educational seminars to seniors throughout Ohio to provide information about estate planning and elder law issues.
Dan is a Cincinnati resident, where he was born and raised. He graduated from Miami University with a Batchelor of Arts and received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Cincinnati College of Law.
