Larry and Linda Shuck Celebrating 50 years of marriage on May 1, 2017.

The couple decided to wed before Larry deployed to Vietnam. They married on May 1,1967 at the Baptist Church in New Richmond, Ohio in the presence of her late mother and step-father Evelyn and Charles “Mac” McClanahan and his late parents Esther and Donald Shuck, all of New Richmond.

Attendants were Linda’s sister Brenda Bolton and Larry’s cousin and fellow Marine, Charles Montgomery. Reception was held at the home of the groom’s parents on Pond Run Rd. Larry’s orders came in September 1967, he served in Vietnam from November 1967 until 1968.

After discharge Larry spent 40 years as a HVAC mechanic and Linda returned to nursing school, graduating from The Jewish Hospital of Cincinnati, Oh. They have two sons, Matthew R. Shuck of Mayfield Heights, OH, he is a ceramic engineer and has two daughters Laine and Haley.

Their younger son Adam Shuck married to Traci Shuck (nee Neibert) is an OC Park Sr. Supervising Ranger, they have two children Courtney and Kyle, all live in Lake Forest CA.

Larry and Linda are both retired and love the free time to garden and travel.
