For the fourth time, Craig Adams of Leesburg has been elected to a three-year term on the board of trustees of Ohio Farm Bureau Federation. As a trustee, Adams will represent the interests of Farm Bureau members in Adams, Brown, Clermont and Highland counties. He is one of 26 farmers on the Farm Bureau board who help govern the state’s largest and most inclusive farm and food organization.
Adams, who farms along with his family, grows corn, soybeans, wheat, hay and straw. They also have a beef cow-calf herd. He and his wife, Kim, have three children.
The Highland County Farm Bureau member is chairman of United Producers and has been active in the county Soil and Water Conservation District, the county Ohio State University Extension advisory committee, YMCA board, Jr. Fair Sale and the Clinton Landmark board. He attends Leesburg United Methodist Church. He is a Wilmington College graduate.
Adams was re-elected during the 98th annual meeting of Ohio Farm Bureau held Nov. 30-Dec. 2 in Columbus. Ohio Farm Bureau’s mission is to forge a partnership between farmers and consumers.
