Several athletes from Milford and Glen Este were honored by the Eastern Cincinnati Conference for their performances this fall.

On the gridiron, Milford offensive lineman Andrew Johnson joined linebacker Hayden Sluder and running back Chase Witte on the first-team all-conference squad. Glen Este defensive back Elijah Johnson and offensive lineman Eli Ulsh also earned a first-team slot.

Milford defensive back Evan Baugh, kicker Dillon Coleman, offensive lineman Adam Hensley and running back Dawson Slone were named to the second team. Glen Este junior defensive lineman Gunnar Johnson earned a second-team nod for the Trojans.

Two locals earned honorable mentions: Glen Este senior running back Aaron Johnston and Milford senior defensive lineman Eric Richey.

In girls’ volleyball, Milford’s Lisa Sullivan earned a first-team all-ECC nod. Teammate Erica Sharp joined Glen Este’s Cassie Vogel and Grace Madden on the second team. Milford’s Abby Thierauf and Glen Este’s Zoe England were honorable mentions.

Two Eagles found themselves on the boys’ soccer first-team. Nick Glasgow and Blake Holtman both earned first-team honors for their performance on the pitch. Teammates Kyle Boehm and Pierce Turner also earned second-team nods. Glen Este’s Sean Honchell and Wyatt Westerkamp were also named to the second team. Milford’s Oliver Vonderhaar and Glen Este’s Jacob French were honorable mentions.

Both schools were well-represented on the girls’ soccer first-team. Milford’s Holly Barlage, McKinley Dumm and Bryn Rolfson joined Glen Este’s Kat Richey and Anna Smith as first-team honorees.

Three other Lady Eagles, Ali Clas, Maddie Wenzler and Amanda Zanola, earned second-team honors. Glen Este’s Kayla Vogt also earned second-team honors, while teammate Makenzie Ellis joined Milford’s Tori Gillman as honorable mentions.

Three Milford cross-country runners earned awards. Clayton Virzi was a first-team honoree while Harris Craycraft and Peter Kroeger earned second-team honors. Glen Este’s Luke Westendorf joined Milford’s Sean Vonderhaar as honorable mentions.

Two Lady Eagles were awarded for their cross country performance. Andrea Armstrong was a second-team honoree and teammate Olivia Loeffler earned honorable mention honors.

In boy’s golf, Milford’s Nathan Arnold earned a first-team slot and player of the year honors. Teammate Aaron Wade joined him on the first team, while another Eagle, Justin Horn, was a second-team honoree.

Glen Este’s Elijah Leiman joined Milford’s Cameron Loux as honorable mentions.

On the girls’ side, Milford’s Casey Broxterman and Bre Severns both earned first-team honors. Megan Loux was named to the second-team, while Megan LaFrance was an honorable mention.

Finally, Amanda Reinhart was named to the first-team all-ECC squad for her play on the tennis court for the Lady Eagles.

Fellow Lady Eagle Mallory Faler was named an honorable mention, as was Glen Este’s Emily Robison.
