The Mercy Health – Anderson HealthPlex presents its first ever Hero Race, featuring a fun and challenging obstacle course race designed by its personal trainers, at 3 p.m. on Saturday, November 19.
The indoor/outdoor race will feature intense cardio intervals and include running, row machines, rope pulls and more. Afterward, you can mingle with other heroes and guests and enjoy snacks and drinks.
You don’t have a wear a superhero costume but the HealthPlex encourages you to dress up if you want to.
Ehren Day, a personal trainer at the HealthPlex, came up with the event in honor of a client who died of cancer this year.
The cost to participate is $20 ($10 if you want to watch and enjoy the after party only) and all proceeds benefit cancer care at Anderson Hospital.
