The village of Bethel is gearing up for the 14th Annual Bethel Down Home Christmas event on Saturday, Dec. 3!

This is an all day event in the village with Breakfast with Santa, a Craft Show, a Santa Dog Parade and much more! The businesses in town open their doors with lots of holiday treats and specials.

The deadline is Nov. 14 to be a participant business and have your activities printed in the brochure for this event. Don’t miss the deadline!

There will be a Window Decorating Contest and a huge Christmas Parade starting at 5:30! Line-up is at 4:30 at the Bethel Church of the Nazarene.

The village gift basket is the grand prize and it is a free drawing but there are rules to enter! You must take your DHC brochure to ten different businesses and have them stamp your brochure. When you get all ten stamps, bring your brochure to the Bethel Historical Museum located in the Grant Memorial building on the corner of Plane and Main Streets in Bethel anytime between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Dec. 3, the day of Down Home Christmas. Brochures will be available at participating businesses a week before the event.

Businesses may drop off their donations for the basket at Bethel Floral Boutique, Bethel Pawn Shop or Community Savings Bank.

After the parade, the Bethel United Methodist Church will host “All Is Calm; All Is Bright”, a musical drama. This is a free event with another performance on Sunday.
