The final two golfers in Clermont County saw their season on the links come to an end last week at the district tournament, held at Beavercreek Golf Club.

Milford’s Nathan Arnold carded a total of 82, missing the cutoff for qualifying by seven strokes. Arnold shot a 43 on the front half of Beavercreek and a 39 on the back nine, good for a score that tied the senior for 31st place overall.

Teammate Cam Lloyd shot a 42 on the front nine and followed that up with a 49 on the back, totaling a 91 and finishing in a three-way tie for 69th place. Springfield’s Lucas Wells and Elder’s Jack Wertz qualified as an individuals with scores of 73. Butler’s Zach Crawford carded a 35 to join them in the state tournament last weekend.
