If you want to make a difference in the lives of others, meet new friends, contribute to your community, learn more about yourself and share in Mercy Health – Cincinnati’s mission, Mercy Health – Clermont Hospital welcomes your interest, skills and talent.

Clermont Hospital is currently seeking volunteers in the following areas:

Circle of Caring – Circle of Caring volunteers visit patients and provide them with reading materials and items the patient might need, such as a blanket, water, etc. We have openings from 1-4 p.m. weekdays and weekends.

Circle of Caring-Dietary – Like the Circle of Caring volunteers, these volunteers visit patients and ask them if they have any needs such as blankets, water, etc. They are also responsible for clearing patients’ tray tables in preparation for the meal tray to arrive. Shifts run from 10-11:30 a.m. for the lunch meal and from 3:30-5 p.m. for the evening meal. Monday through Sunday shifts are available.

Messengers – Messenger volunteers meet, greet and provide directions and information to all who enter the facility. They are the first face that patients, families and visitors see at Clermont Hospital. If you like helping people, this is the position for you. We have openings on Monday and Friday mornings from 9 a.m.-noon and on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday afternoons from 1-4 p.m.

Char Mae Gift Shop – The hospital gift shop is the fundraising arm for the Guild of Clermont Hospital. We are in need of several volunteers to help take care of customers in our gift shop. It is a fun place to work and you can enjoy seeing the many new items that come in daily. There are shifts available Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 4-8 p.m. and Sundays from noon-4 p.m. We encourage you to bring a friend or relative with whom you can work together as volunteers on the same shift. We also have need for some daytime help on occasion.

Volunteers in all roles will receive orientation and training to help you get started and become comfortable in the hospital environment.

Compassion and respect for others guide the Mercy Health’s volunteers as they support hospital staff in providing the highest quality care to our patients and visitors.
