Harlan Township Fire and Rescue’s Annual Fall Fundraiser will be held on Friday, Oct. 21 and Saturday, Oct. 22 at the main fire station on Morrow-Rossburg Road at State Route 132, midway between the Villages of Pleasant Plain and Butlerville.

On Friday evening, an old tyme auction will be held in the apparatus bays starting at 6:30 and continuing until the last item is sold. There will be a wide variety of new and gently used items for guests to bid on. Harlan Fire Cadets will be serving hot sandwiches, snacks, beverages and desserts throughout the evening.

Auction donations which are in good condition are gladly accepted. Pickup service is available.

On Saturday, a Ham and Turkey Dinner will be served in the fire station from 4-7 p.m.

These complete dinners include ham or turkey, real mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, home style gravy, homemade dressing, green beans, cranberry sauce, dinner roll, butter, dessert, and a cold soft drink, iced tea or hot coffee. Carry out service is available with a separate serving table. Door prizes will be awarded regularly.

This is the township’s thirty-ninth annual event. Funds are used to help with the operation of the fire department and help maintain our high level of service to our residents and community.
