Girls’ soccer teams from around the county learned their first-round destinations as sectional tournament brackets were announced on Sunday, Oct. 9.
In Division I, Milford drew the #10 seed and a first-round bye. The Lady Eagles will face off against the winner of Little Miami and Sycamore in Milford on Saturday, Oct. 22 at 7 p.m.
Amelia also earned a home matchup. The Lady Barons will face off against Middletown in Amelia on Tuesday, Oct. 18 at 7 p.m. A win would set the Lady Barons up with a date against Mt. Notre Dame on Oct. 22 at 7 p.m.
Glen Este will travel to mercy for their first-round match. The Lady Trojans open sectional tournament play against Mercy on Tuesday, Oct. 18 at 7 p.m. A win would send the team to top-seeded Loveland in their next match.
In Division II, Clermont Northeastern drew the 16th seed and will visit Taylor on Oct. 18 Batavia drew the 14th seed and will square off against the Blanchester Wildcats in Blanchester, also on Oct. 18.
A third Clermont County team will be in action that night as well. The Goshen Lady Warriors will travel to Ross High School for a 7 p.m. contest.
New Richmond also competes in Division II. The Lady Lions drew a bye and will face the winner of Western Brown and Wilmington in New Richmond on Saturday, Oct. 22 at 7 p.m.
In Division III, Felicity drew a first-round match at Reading High School on Oct. 18 at 7 p.m. Williamsburg will host Fayetteville that same night, also at 7 p.m.
