Vietnam Veterans of America, Clermont County Chapter 649 meets Thursday, Oct. 13 at 7:30 p.m. at the Union Township Civic Center, 4350 Aicholtz Road – Eastgate.
The guest speaker will be Mr. David Shortt, Curator of the Veterans Memorial Museum in Germantown, Ohio. The various wings of the museum house memorabilia and veterans artifacts from the Revolutionary War through the Global War on Terrorism. The museum is operated by veterans and historians dedicated to the preservation of oral and written history of American Armed Forces. Mr. Shortt will be bringing some items from the museum for display at the meeting.
