The Clermont Northeastern Lady Rockets dropped a four-set match to Indian Hill last week, leaving them below .500 on the season at 4-5. In the five games since, however, the squad has gone on quite a run.

In addition to wins over Norwood and Fayetteville, the team edged out a five-set victory at home against Batavia. The Lady Rockets won the first two sets 25-13 and 25-14 before dropping the next two 19-25 and 18-25. CNE would win the fifth set 15-12 to win the match.

That same night, Goshen defeated Bethel-Tate in four sets, 25-18, 25-9, 14-25, 25-17. Williamsburg earned a three-set win over Western Brown, 25-23, 25-11, 25-15 and New Richmond swept Georgetown 25-18, 25-18, 25-12. Amelia defeated Blanchester 25-16, 25-22, 25-17.

Amelia defeated Blanchester in three sets, winning 25-16, 25-22, 25-17. Norwood won their contest against Felicity-Franklin 25-16, 25-15, 25-11.

In the Eastern Cincinnati Conference, Milford rolled to a straight-set win over Withrow, 25-5, 25-3, 25-8. Glen Este fell to Loveland 25-21, 25-14, 25-10.

The lone game scheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 21 was supposed to see Felicity-Franklin host Georgetown, but that game was moved to Oct. 6.

The Lady G-Men did face off against Goshen on Sept. 22, with the Lady Warriors earning a 3-0 victory. Goshen won the first set 25-15, the second 25-20 and the third 25-22. Batavia dropped a 21-25, 26-24, 25-20, 16-25, 8-15 five-set decision to Blanchester that afternoon as well.

Williamsburg defeated Norwod 25-15, 25-12, 25-6 while New Richmond slipped past Miami Valley Christian Academy 25-18, 26-24, 25-21.

Anderson defeated Milford 25-11, 25-19, 25-15 while Walnut Hills beat Glen Este 25-15, 25-18, 25-22.

Amelia participated in a tri-match with Little Miami and Hamilton on Saturday, Sept. 24. The Lady Barons lost both matches, falling to Hamilton 25-16, 25-21 and Little Miami 25-10, 25-11.

Springboro defeated Milford 25-23, 25-14, 25-6 but Glen Este earned a 25-16, 19-25, 25-18, 25-15 win over Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy.

On Monday, Sept. 26, Indian Hill knocked off Goshen in three sets, 25-20, 25-15, 25-17 Clermont Northeastern earned a four set win over MVCA, 25-17 22-25, 25-19, 26-24.

Conference play continues for teams in the SBAAC on Thursday, Sept. 27. CNE visits Williamsburg for a 6 p.m. start, while Amelia at Norwood and Batavia at New Richmond begin at 6:30 p.m. Felicity-Franklin at Blanchester is also a 6:30 p.m. start. Glen Este will battle Milford at 7 p.m. in the ECC.
