A New Richmond man was charged with various counts involving an alleged attempted murder after an August incident.

Travis Booze, 19, was indicted by the Grand Jury on Sept. 22 for one count of conspiracy to commit aggravated murder, one count of attempted aggravated murder and one count of attempted murder, all first degree felonies, in addition to one count of improper discharge into a habitation and three counts of felonious assault, all second degree felonies.

On Aug. 19, Booze allegedly planned or helped plan a murder. He then engaged in conduct that, if successful, would have resulted in a death. Booze allegedly had a firearm that he used during the offense, which he discharged from a motor vehicle at or into an occupied structure that is a permanent or temporary habitation of any individual, the indictment states.

His bond was set at $250,000 on Sept. 23.
