The Cincinnati Bengals will join forces once again with Hoxworth Blood Center, University of Cincinnati to host the 15th Annual Bengals Week Blood Drive starting on Monday, Oct. 3.

Bengals Week is scheduled from Mon., Oct. 3 thru Sat., Oct. 8. During this time, donors are encouraged to make a lifesaving blood or platelet donation at one of Hoxworth’s 8 neighborhood donor centers.

All donors will receive a limited edition Bengals t-shirt.

“Partnering with the Cincinnati Bengals allows us to harness the power of the ‘Who Dey’ nation to save countless lives in our community,” said Alecia Lipton, Hoxworth spokesperson. “We are thrilled to team up with the Bengals for the 15th consecutive year and hope that every fan of our hometown team will show their support by making a lifesaving blood donation.”

The Bengals spokesperson for this year’s drive is quarterback A.J. McCarron. The t-shirt design is a throwback to the 1969 season featuring the “flying tiger”.

Donors can visit www.hoxworth.org/groups/bengals or call (513) 451-0910 or (800) 830-1091 to schedule their donation appointment. Due to the popularity of this event, appointments are highly encouraged.
