On Friday, Sept. 23 in conjunction with Ebon C. Hill Intermediate’s Oktoberfest there will be an informational meeting in the multi-purpose “Tiger Room” for the residents of Bethel-Tate Local School District.

This meeting is to inform residents about the upcoming emergency operating levy on the Nov. 8 ballot. Issue 14 is a 6.6 mills, five-year operating levy which will be used for urgent, needed facility repairs and maintenance.

Please take this time to see our needs and ask questions in order to make an informed decision as you cast your vote.

Our school district has not had additional operating monies since 1989 and in fact have lost some monies due to decreases in property valuations. It is our hope that you will cast a “For” vote on Issue 14 to help us preserve and protect what we have. We pledge to utilize these additional funds to fulfill our motto “Our Kids, Their Future, Building a Stronger Community for All.” Please plan to attend the informational town hall meeting on Sept. 2, 7 p.m. at the Ebon C. Hill Intermediate School located by Burke Park in Bethel, Ohio.
