The Bethel-Tate Tigers entered last week undefeated and hoped to continue that streak, while the county’s two Eastern Cincinnati Conference representatives were still searching for their first win.

Bethel-Tate rolled over Williamsburg 9-0, getting four scoring strikes from Boston and one each from Casey Fischer, Jake Clift, Christian Veve, Lukas Papadatos and Cameron Lowe. Tyler Baker recorded the shutout for the Tigers.

New Richmond also earned a 9-0 victory, with nine different players getting in on the scoring act against Goshen. Lake Anderson, A.J. Hobbs, Herwens Horgan, Sawyer Schue, Luke Smiddy, Clay- ton Farmer, Josh Dixon, Alex Prescott and Brett Benzinger all scored at least one goal, with Prescott and Jonathan Lang combining for the shutout.

In other games from Sept. 6, Felicity-Franklin and Waynesville battled to a scoreless draw, while Batavia dropped a 5-4 battle to Norwood.

Amelia was on the wrong end of a shutout, dropping a 3-0 decision to Western Brown.

West Union blanked Williamsburg 6-0 on Sept. 7. New Richmond earned a 2-0 win over Blanchester on Sept. 8, while Batavia defeated Georgetown 2-1, Norwood earned a 4-0 shutout win over Clermont Northeastern and Bethel-Tate defeated Amelia 5-0.

In the ECC, Anderson defeated Glen Este 9-0 and Milford dropped a 3-2 contest to Walnut Hills.

Just two teams were scheduled to be in action on Sept. 10, but only one got to take the field. Bethel-Tate dropped a 2-0 contest to Clark Montessori for their first loss of the season, but Amelia’s non-conference contest against Wyoming was rained out.

In a crossover between the ECC and SBAAC, New Richmond came out on top of Glen Este 4-0 thanks to goals from Farmer, Hobbs, Lang and Alex Stephen. Prescott recorded the shutout for New Richmond.
