A crash on Interstate 275 in Milford on Aug. 30 left a Union Township man seriously injured.

Mary Stradman, 64 of Cincinnati, was driving a 2016 Ford Escape northbound on 275 in the far left lane when Bruce Keaton, 54, entered 275 northbound driving a 2016 Harley Davidson, according to a preliminary investigation by the Batavia Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

Keaton made an unsafe lane change and hit Stradman’s car as he switched lanes. He lost control and his motorcycle overturned, ejecting him. The motorcycle slid more than 500 feet into the median.

Stradman was not injured, but Keaton was flown to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center by UC Air Care with serious injuries. He was not wearing a helmet.

Two lanes of 275 were closed for two hours while the crash was investigated. The OSHP is still investigating, and charges are pending, according to a press release.
