Be a part of a world record. Visit any of the Clermont County Public Libraries at noon Wednesday, Aug. 10, to be a part of the World’s Largest Storytime.

Staff from the Guinness Book of World Records will be on hand to measure how many people participate and to ultimately decide if the Greater Cincinnati area hosted the world’s largest storytime. This event is part of the Cincinnati Enquirer’s 175th anniversary celebration and is geared toward improving early literacy in the region.

Each Clermont County library will host a special storytime at noon Aug. 10. Each person who participates will receive a sticker saying they helped set a possible world record. Also, everyone can enjoy a great story, Chicka Chicka Boom Boom.

Each library also will be accepting donations for KlicWow, an organization working to place tablets and books into the hands of all 3-4 year olds in Clermont County to promote early literacy. Visit Klicwow.com for more information.

The public is welcome. Visit clermontlibrary.org for more information. What will you discover?
