A Bethel man was indicted for one count of gross sexual imposition on June 5.
John Witzel II, 62, was indicted on the third degree felony for an incident on Dec. 25, 2015, said Assistant Prosecutor Scott O’Reilly.
Witzel had sexual contact in a vehicle with people he knows, including a 10-year-old girl. He has a prior conviction of two counts of importuning from a 1996 case in Clermont County and 15 counts of pandering sexual oriented material involving a minor from a 2006 case in Brown County.
In addition, Witzel is a registered sex offender, O’Reilly said.
Witzel’s pre-trial is scheduled for July 14 with Judge Thomas Herman.
