The Cincinnati-Eastside Rotary Club introduced new leadership for the 2016-17 Club year during its annual “Pass the Gavel” ceremony at Ivy Hills Country Club on Tuesday, June 28. Rotary District 6670 Assistant Governor Michael Chapman, of the Batavia Rotary Club, was on hand to administer the oath to the newly elected officers.
Eric Radtke, president of Sporty’s Academy, Inc., was sworn in as president of Cincinnati-Eastside Rotary. “I’m deeply honored for the vote of confidence from my fellow Rotarians and look forward to working with the leadership team and our talented membership in advancing the Club’s priorities. “We have an aggressive agenda planned for the new year and many community challenges we’re prepared to address. Our mission will center around membership, service and youth.” said Radtke. “I would also like to thank Michelle Edwards for her outstanding service as president this past year which included a new youth leadership initiative.”
Joining Radtke on the leadership team are Gail Koford, president-elect; Alison Taylor, vice president; Michelle Edwards, past president; Donovan “Donnie” Donohoo, treasurer; Jackie McNary, sergeant at arms, Michelle Hamilton, secretary; and Phil Boyer, Penny Magee, and Bob Pautke serving as directors.
Cincinnati-Eastside Rotary engages in fellowship, service and education each Wednesday during luncheon meetings beginning at 11:45am at Ivy Hills Country Club in Newtown. Guests are welcome.
