The National Federation of Independent Business/Ohio, the state’s leading small business association representing 25,000 entrepreneurs, is proud to announce its endorsement of Rep. John Becker, who is seeking re-election to Ohio’s 65th House District seat.

The district is home to 149 dues paying members of NFIB/Ohio. This endorsement today comes from the NFIB/Ohio SAFE Trust, the organization’s political action committee.

Rep. Becker is a fiscal conservative in the Ohio House of Representatives who has a platform of being a strong advocate of economic responsibility.  He shares the same concerns as Ohio’s entrepreneurs and sees small-business owners as key components to Ohio’s economic success.

“Representative Becker has been approved through NFIB/Ohio’s member-driven process that thoroughly reviews candidates’ records, stated positions and understanding of small-business issues before an endorsement is issued,” said Roger R. Geiger, vice president and executive director of NFIB/Ohio. “During his time in the Ohio legislature, he has earned a 93% voting record on our issues.  We look forward to continuing working with him to move Ohio’s economy forward.”

“Ohioans rely on the strength that small businesses provide to the economic and workforce development in our state. The NFIB plays a critical role in helping the legislature make sure policies are implemented that help small businesses in Ohio and I am honored to have received their endorsement for my re-election to represent the 65th District in Clermont County,” said Rep. Becker.
