Get ready for an evening of musical entertainment on May 14 with the Cincinnati Brass Band for their “Spring Brass & Bells” concert. In addition to the Cincinnati Brass Band, the concert will feature the Cincinnati Collaborative Ringing Project ensemble and organ soloist, Rodney Barbour.

The Cincinnati Collaborative Ringing Project is a unique handbell ensemble based in Cincinnati. CCRP has as its fundamental mission the building of collaborative relationships with different types and styles of musicians and ensembles. In addition to the current collaboration with the Cincinnati Brass Band, CCRP has also performed with other musical ensembles including Blue Ash Montgomery Symphony Orchestra, Cincinnati Children’s Choir, Cincinnati May Festival, Cincinnati Pops Orchestra and the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra.

A successful writer and arranger, Rodney Barbour has numerous current releases including Praises Grand and Glorious, Songs of Life-Sounds of Faith, Hymns of Power-Songs of Peace and Colors in Praise. As an entertainer, Rodney has performed with both the Ringling Brothers Barnum and Bailey Circus Band and the Holiday on Ice Orchestras. From 1983-1992 Rodney was a featured performer at Cincinnati’s Springdale Music Palace Mighty Wurlitzer Organ. As a Sports Organist, Rodney Barbour was Official Organist of the Cincinnati Reds at Riverfront Stadium from 1987 to 1999 and Organist for the Cincinnati Mighty Ducks from 1998-2001. Rodney is currently the Director of Music and Organist at Crestview Presbyterian Church in West Chester.
