Trevor Robertson and Tim Warner were recognized as April Students of the Month by the Rotary Club of Batavia.

Robertson is a Batavia High School senior where he participates in several school groups. He has been an office aide throughout his high school years and has enjoyed serving as Yearbook Editor this year as well as in the past. He is heavily involved in fine arts at BHS and participates in as many band activities as he possibly can. He landed the lead in the BHS spring production of “Seussical, the Musical,” and is looking forward to entertaining the audience as Horton from “Horton Hears a Who.”

In addition to a busy school schedule, Robertson is an active volunteer with his church. He has been involved with Operation Christmas Child, which has greatly impacted his life.

“Trevor is such a nice young man,” said Felicia Grooms, BHS Principal. “Helping others is one of the best parts of him.”

Upon graduation, Robertson will attend the University of Akron and major in Nursing. His interest in nursing comes from his passion for caring for others. Robertson had the opportunity to care for his grandmother, which helped him decided on nursing as his profession.

He plans to obtain his Master’s degree at some point and become a Physician’s Assistant.

Warner is a senior at Clermont Northeastern High School. He has taken Advanced Placement classes, played percussion in the CNE High School Band, and enjoyed performing with the band at special events including the Reds Opening Day Parade this year. Warner has been a member of the CNE soccer team and most recently led the CNE undefeated Academic Quiz Team in a great season. He was named Player of the Year for the Southern Buckeye Athletic and Academic Conference.

“Tim is a tremendous young man,” said T.J. Glassmeyer, CNE High School Principal. “He loves learning and has a passion for it. This will serve him well in whatever he chooses to do.”

Warner plans to major in astrophysics and astronomy when he enters college. His will eventually obtain his Ph.D.

“I commend you both and thank you for what you do for your communities and your schools,” said Ed Nurre, Student of the Month Chair for the Batavia Rotary.

The Batavia Rotary Club recognizes one high school student from BHS and CNE each month throughout the regular school year.
