Lina Rios, daughter of Sandy K. Rios of Batavia, Ohio, has earned an elite academic scholarship to attend Indiana Tech in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Rios, a senior at Goshen High School, will pursue a degree in biomedical engineering at Indiana Tech. She, along with other elite scholarship recipients, received her award at a banquet in Fort Wayne on Friday, March 4. She will receive the Engineering and Computer Sciences Scholarship that is $15,000 for her freshman year, and $15,000 for each of the next three years, provided she meets the school’s academic criteria.
Rios participates in soccer, track, football and powerlifting, and she is a member of the National Honor Society.
