Clermont County Park District’s 11th Annual Pancakes in the Park was held this past weekend on Saturday, March 12.

Every year in February and March, the Park District Naturalists tap over 80 Sugar Maple trees at Pattison Park. This year, naturalists collected about 200 gallons of maple sap to boil into maple syrup.

Out of the 200 gallons of sap collected, CCPD produced and bottled about 3 gallons of real maple syrup. A huge thank you to our sponsors, Owensville IGA, Cahall Brothers Inc., Shaw Farms and Martha’s Farm. With the support of our sponsors and our faithful volunteers, Pancakes in the Park had another successful year and remains CCPD tradition! If you missed the pancake breakfast, there is still some award-winning maple syrup available for purchase at the Clermont County Park District’s Park Office at Pattison Park on Highway 50.

Upcoming events at the Clermont County Park District include:
Spring Break Day Camps
Spring Wildflower Walk Series
Opening Day on the trails
Fishing Derby
